About
A lifelong Iowan, Dr. Yen grew up in Iowa City, IA, and received her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University. She continued her education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with a distinction in Dental Public Health. Dr. Yen is an experienced dentist with expertise in general and family dentistry as well as cosmetics, Botox treatment, root canals, laser dentistry and sleep appliances.
Dr. Yen is passionate about developing an environment of trust and comfort for her patients to ensure even those with a history of dental anxiety can access the oral health they deserve. She enjoys getting to know each patient and uses a patient-centered approach to care that is reassuring and comforting all while providing top-quality dental care.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Yen enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, hiking outdoors, and trying out new restaurants. She is very talented in cooking and baking from family recipes that have been passed down by her grandmother! She and her husband, Brandon, reside in Ankeny, IA and she looks forward to serving this community for years to come!
